The CLEAN & SEAL®. Concept, which was developed based on scientific data, provides guidance and support for the treatment and control of peri-implant mucositis. It allows clinicians to save implants and prevent the development of peri-implantitis, which helps to further prevent larger procedures required to rebuild peri-implant tissue.
Peri-implant disease is divided into two subgroups: peri-implant mucositis, which is characterized by soft tissue inflammation without bone loss and peri-implantitis, which is characterized by progressive loss of the supporting bone. If left untreated, in the worst-case peri-implantitis can result in the loss of the affected implant.
This problem is relatively new to clinicians and dissatisfying for patients. It is of great importance to treat peri-implant disease at an early stage, with infection control and extensive debridement being crucial for positive treatment outcomes.
The likelihood of success is further increased by the supportive application of sealing agents for protection and regenerative support and by regular follow-up to monitor and control inflammation.

Osteoplastic materials (or bone substitutes) are regularly used in regenerative dental surgery and periodontology when there is insufficient volume of bone tissue. Osteoplastic materials may be of both natural origin and artificially synthesized in a laboratory and have the ability of interacting with the human body. The balance between safety and efficacy of osteoplastic materials provides a guarantee of effective treatment.
Guided Bone Regeneration (GBR) is applied to replace and fill bone defects. GBR helps augment the volume and support the jaw bone for ensuring long-term treatment, especially in dental surgery. Regenerative processes in the bone defect are ensured by applying a source of regeneration and barrier membranes which prevent penetration of soft and epithelial tissue into the area of regeneration.
When periodontal soft-tissue structures have been lost, Guided Tissue Regeneration (GTR) is used. The materials used in GTR serve to protect the wound surface, as well as help start the processes of natural regeneration and enhance the overall effect of the treatment.
For a safe and guaranteed successful treatment, the area of structures adjacent to the intervention zone has to be carefully treated to remove bacterial biofilm.
“PARADENT” offers specialists of dental surgery and periodontology three-stage support for bone and soft tissue grafting, helping prepare before starting the procedure. We guarantee the balance between safety and effectiveness in the use of osteoplastic materials. Together with us you will experience long-term success.
